P2 have learnt the story of the Little Red Hen and how she worked hard to make her loaf of bread. Today, we made special rainbow toast. We painted a picture on to the bread using milk and food colouring. Then watched the bread carefully as it went in the toaster. Our favourite part was choosing a yummy topping... butter, jam or chocolate spread!
