P1 love learning phonics! We learn a new sound each week, through song, rhyme and stories. We have an action to accompany each sound and we practise these at home with Mummies and Daddies. Each week, we take part in a phonics carousel. This is made up of four fun stations with activities including writing the letter in shaving foam, finding the letter in sand, writing the letter on chalk or whiteboards and making the letter using Pom poms and tweezers... and many more exciting activities!
