Today, Primary 7 pupils learned about how ‘Words Are Powerful’. We talked about how words can both hurt and heal others depending on how we use them. We discussed how God speaks to us in words through the bible and how we can learn from his teachings.
As a class, we listened to the story ‘Have You Filled a Bucket Today?’ by Carol Mc Cloud. This fabulous book encourages using positive words and behaviour to show children how easy and rewarding it is to express kindness, appreciation and love by “filling buckets.”
